Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about albums and songbooks:

Where can I find printed lyrics to Frank's songs?

The lyrics to Frank's songs can be found in the liner notes for the albums on which they appear. This is true for all of the English-language recordings of Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel and The Civil War. (The Broadway cast recording of Victor/Victoria, however, does not include lyrics in the liner notes). Lyrics are also included with each of Linda Eder's solo albums.

Will a (Broadway or national tour) cast recording be released for The Civil War?

Unfortunately, the logistics did not come together to make a cast recording possible with any stage production of The Civil War, and such a recording will not be released. For information on the concept recordings, see the Civil War Albums & Songbooks page.

Will a Jekyll album be released featuring Jack Wagner or Sebastian Bach?

Many fans have asked if a recording is available, or may become available, from the Broadway performances of Jack Wagner or Sebastian Bach. Unfortunately, no recording was made with either of these leading men, and none will be released.

Is there a recording of the wedding version of "You Are My Home" from The Scarlet Pimpernel?

The wedding version of "You Are My Home" (as sung by Percy and Marguerite) has not been recorded and released.

Where can I purchase songbooks?

You should be able to purchase any songbook that is still in print, at any local or online music retailer. It is helpful to have the songbook's publisher and ISBN handy, to simplify the process of ordering a copy in case your local store does not have it in stock. Publishers, ISBNs and online purchasing links are included on each of the songbook pages of this site.

For songbooks distributed by Hal Leonard (including songbooks for Jekyll & Hyde, The Civil War and Linda's albums) you can find several links to online vendors at the Hal Leonard Website.

How do I find out of print songbooks?

Several of the older songbooks have been out of print for quite some time, and can be very hard to find. The best places to look are used sheet music outlets, online auctions, and similar locations.

Is sheet music avaiable for the song "Prayer" from The Scarlet Pimpernel?

Unfortunately, sheet music for Percy's "Prayer" has not been published.

Where can I find sheet music for "I'll Forget You" from The Scarlet Pimpernel?

The song "I'll Forget You" has been printed in two songbooks, the one for the Pimpernel concept album, and the one for Linda Eder's album "And So Much More." Both of these are now out of print, and can be very difficult to find. For suggestions on how to search for these, see the FAQ on out of print songbooks.

Where can I find sheet music for the song, "The Gift"?

Sheet music is available for "The Gift" - a song recorded by Linda Eder on harpist Jung's Christmas album. The sheet music for this song is included in the Linda Eder Anthology songbook.

Where can I find sheet music for "[This Song Name]"?

For information on songs that have been published as sheet music, check the albums & songbooks pages throughout this section of the website. If the song you want is not listed above, or on one of these pages, then chances are that it hasn't been published. Songbooks are typically published a year or two following the release of the album to which they correspond, and songbooks are not always published for every album.
